As a professor of linguistics in the University of Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences, Cramer has spent her career helping students see language not as a set of rules, but as a living, social practice shaped by culture and place.

Chellgren Faculty Fellows RFP now open!

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 18, 2024) — The University of Kentucky Chellgren Center for Undergraduate Excellence is pleased to announce the request for proposals for academic year 2025-26 that will provide grants of up to $4,000 for Faculty Fellows to engage in activities associated with student excellence. This program provides resources and support for faculty to design academic courses, research projects and other forms of creative work.
