Explore the Chellgren Student Fellows Program: Information session for first-year students

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 27, 2026) — The Chellgren Center for Undergraduate Excellence at the University of Kentucky will give students an opportunity to learn about a unique educational program next week.

Designed for second-year students, the Chellgren Student Fellows Program (also known as the Chellows program) provides experiences that go beyond the classroom. The open house and information session will help students learn more about the program, which cultivates extraordinary academic achievement among some of UK’s best students. The fellows prepare for nationally competitive scholarship opportunities and conduct academic research with faculty from across campus.
